Today I plan on going to the plant nursery. I want to find another hanging plant to match the one my mother gave me when she was here a few days ago. I also want to see if the eggplants are in yet, which they should be by now.
Also I am going to make a green goddess salad dressing today. Would you like my recipe? Here you go:
in the food processor:
pulse/chop one whole shallot
add in
three sprigs fresh marjoram
three sprigs salad burnet
about five-seven sprigs chives
about a tablespoon of fresh parsley
pulse/chop these into shallot
then
add in 1 heaping tablespoon dijon mustard
3 tablespoons champagne, tarragon or rice wine vinegar
a pinch of sugar
a bigger pinch of salt
couple twists of ground pepper
pulse this into shallot/herb mixture
then
cut in one avocado half
steady on into mixture until smooth paste is formed
then
with, motor running, slowly pour in about 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, more or less, to get
fluid like consistency
either place in a jar or toss immediately with salad and serve!
